Apple Health not syncing

If your steps or workouts from Apple Health are not appearing in the Activate app, follow these steps.

Check permissions

  1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Apps & Devices → Activate.
  3. Make sure all permissions (Steps, Workouts, Active Energy, etc.) are turned on.

Reconnect the integration

If permissions are correct but data still isn’t syncing, try disconnecting and reconnecting Apple Health in the Activate app: go to Menu → Devices, disconnect Apple Health, close the Activate app completely, reopen it, and reconnect Apple Health.

Other things to check

• Make sure you’re running the latest version of the Activate app.

• If you use an Apple Watch, ensure it’s synced to your iPhone first. Activate reads data from Apple Health, not directly from the watch.

• Data usually appears within a few minutes but can occasionally take up to an hour.

• Avoid connecting multiple integrations at once (e.g., Apple Health and Garmin simultaneously) as this can cause data conflicts.

Still not working?

Contact us via in-app chat and let us know your iPhone model and iOS version. Screenshots of your Apple Health permissions for Activate are helpful.
